The International Ibsen Scholarships, initiated by the Norwegian government, are awarded annually and the applications are subject to scrutiny by an appointed jury. Previous years, projects from Asia, North-America, Europe, Africa and Australia have received scholarships. The presentation of the scholarships is staged in Ibsen’s birth town, Skien in Norway in September 2010 and coincides with Skien International Ibsen Conference.
