Philip E. Larson

Philip E. Larson received his university education at the University of California in Berkeley, from which he earned the PhD in dramatic art. He has taught at Berkeley, Stanford, St. Lawrence University and four of the top universities in China. He has directed seven productions of Ibsen’s plays, including his own translation of Rosmersholm, at the Nordic Heritage Museum in Seattle, Washington. The research on which the present project is based was conducted in Norway during the 1990’s.

He lives in Paradise, California.
